It is not that rural India is without skill, it is just that a large section of our population do not have the rightful access to opportunities to put their skills and talents to use.

We wanted to enable village women with sewing skills to take ownership of their work by creating utilitarian lifestyle products that are 100% environment friendly; where non-biodegradable cloth waste from mega factories are utilised in our processes and prevented from entering our soil, rivers and oceans.
The Dream
110 million tonnes of fabric waste is generated in India every year due to its mass manufacturing of apparel––a large portion of this ends up in landfills, directly contributing to climate change.

In rural India, women are either unable to enter the formal workforce or continue to have access only to informal labour or unpaid farm labour.

We want to change this.
